I am an animal advocate and have volunteered my Saturdays as a dog photographer for a local high-kill shelter for the past year and a half. It is the most rewarding experience to hear a dog was adopted after someone fell in love with his/her photo on the shelter's website!
Outside of work, I can be found spending time with my handsome, supportive fiance, Jason, and the other two loves of my life, my two rescued pit bull mixes, MacKenzie and Dash.

Jennifer had plenty of wonderful ideas for poses and at the same time was able to deal with our young children, who can quickly get tired of something in a minute. She kept their attention span long enough to make it through our entire shoot and caught some incredible poses, both staged and just regular interaction with each other. We have always done our family pictures in some of those big name studios, but after this shoot I vow to never again. These pictures were the best pictures we have taken anywhere ,and I plan to have more shoots with Jennifer Leigh Photography.

Jennifer has been great to work with - we’ve used her twice for family pictures. She is patient with kids (ours are 2 and under 1), very professional and can snap beautiful pictures, even when the kids are running around! She has a wonderful, easy going personality that makes everyone comfortable - which goes a long way in getting natural shots that reflect everyone’s personalities. We have been very pleased with the quality and quantity of pictures we have received back. We will definitely use Jen again!
